NEWS: Aputure Launches Amaran MW Powerful, Compact, and Underwater LED1 min read

Aputure has been making amazing LED lights for indie filmmakers for some time now, but probably the most exciting light I saw last year at any trade show was their Amaran MW mini LED that is super-bright and also can go underwater. I saw it at IBC 2018 back in September last year in Amsterdam, and at that point final specs and pricing were not yet finalised, however just days ago Aputure officially launched their most powerful and rugged mini LED light to date!
The Aputure AMARAN MW is quite an insanely powerful light for its miniature size. The new Amaran MW features a massive 6000 lux output (making it twice as bright as the equally compact and rugged Aputure MX), 5x built-in light special effects, a 24hrs non-stop battery life all contained in a compact metal housing with the ability to go 10 meters underwater; this makes the AL-MW incredibly versatile LED for those daredevils that like to live and film amazing locations on the edge (and mostly underwater).
