Animation Nation is an festival held in Singapore featuring animation feature films, animation short, seminars, and workshops. It was founded in 2004 and is organised by the Singapore Film Society. The last edition of the festival was held in 2011.

This year, SFS is bringing back Animation Nation from 13 October to 16 October, featuring a complete retrospective of the works of critically acclaimed and award-winning animator Adam Elliot, who will be in Singapore to present the films. His works include Academy Award® winner for Best Animated Short Film in

The film is a co-production between Wild Bunch and Studio Ghibli, and tells the story of a man who tries to escape from a deserted island and battles a giant turtle. It won the special prize under the Un Certain Regard category of the Cannes Film Festival this year.

I have a passion for motion picture; which in that is the magic of make believe. New technologies that change the way we acquire content is what excites me. I enjoy cooking and cycling outside of work =)
