Singapore Film Wins at Houston International Film Fest 20161 min read

Singapore short film, Bang Bang Club, created by BananaMana Films, has won a prestigious REMI award in the short film category of the 49th Annual Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival 2016. The exact category of the award will be announced at the Remi Awards Gala Dinner April 17th, 2016, Houston. As a Remi winner Bang Bang Club is confirmed to premiere at Worldfest on 17th April, 1pm at the AMC Theatres in Houston. The short has recently also been nominated for Best Editing and Best Original Score at the Indie Series Awards 2016.

Not a stranger to awards, Singaporean company BananaMana Films, took home 7 international awards in 2015 from 16 nominations for their web series: Perfect Girl. The series was recently acquired by online OTT platform Viki and Encore Inflight for global distribution.
