Michelle Goh, 30, Karen Tan, 34, and Sharon Tan, 31, belatedly celebrated the first birthday bash of the cinema last Saturday (13 February). The Projector opened its doors in December 2014. “The reason why it’s a “one-ish” anniversary is because I think we are so busy just running this place day-to-day we forget it’s been here (for a year),” said Goh. “It did give us pause and it made us look back,” she added.
