Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia is one of Asia’s largest film festivals, and will be held in Tokyo Japan from June 2, 2016 to June 13, 2016. Short films under 25 minutes of all genres (except for music videos), which are made after June 1, 2014 from all Asian countries (except for Japan) are accepted to the Asian category. These short films must have a Japan premiere (online streaming on foreign websites is not considered a Japan premiere)

Submission is free and closes on October 31, 2015.

Awards for the Asia category include:

Best Short Award – Asia International Competition: 600,000 Yen
Audience Award – Asia International Competition: 200,000 Yen
