Green Film Festival Kicks Off1 min read

The eighth annual Green Film Festival in Seoul opens Wednesday for an eight-day run at CGV Sangam in the Mapo district in the northwestern part of the capital.

Hosted by the Korea Green Foundation, the event features over 140 eco-related films from 33 countries, including 21 entries selected for the Green Competition section.

The opening film is “I’m Sorry, Thank You,” an omnibus by four Korean directors about relationships between human and pets.

Five films will be screened in the Focus 2011 section under the theme of nuclear energy consumption, including “Into Eternity,” a documentary about a nuclear waste repository in Finland.
