Documentary ‘Embodies Kim Jong-un’s Great-Nation Dream’
North Korean heir-apparent Kim Jong-un has hailed the Chinese film “The Rise of the Great Nations,” saying it embodied his own dreams, Radio Free Asia reported Wednesday.
Kim was quoted as saying he could watch the movie over and over again.
“The Rise of the Great Nations” is a 12-part documentary broadcast in 2006 by China’s state-run CCTV and depicts the rise of nine advanced countries including France, Japan, the U.K, and the U.S.
The documentary was aired dubbed by South Korea’s EBS in 2007, while a re-edited pirated version is apparently being distributed in North Korea.
