In a year when more than 13 million hours of video was uploaded to YouTube globally, viewers across India were captivated by millions of entertaining videos on YouTube India.
In 2010, Nick Vijicic, an Australian motivational speaker born without limbs, had the most watched video with over 15 million views.
Bollywood music videos ruled the charts on YouTube in India with title song from the Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee starrer ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ taking the #2 slot with over 4.5 million views.
“Globally YouTube has become the world’s town square – a place where culture is created and shared. In India, YouTube is growing as an extremely important platform for content distribution with all content producers adopting the platform to catch audiences online.” said, Vinay Goel, Head of Products Google India.
