At the 15th International Film Festival of Kerala, Oliver Assayas, French filmmaker and director, share that he never sets out to make good films, instead “I go to make the best.”
He says that risk taking is the key thing.
“I never walk on my own steps. I never try to imitate myself in my new movie.” Each creation becomes an exploration to the unknown. It is taking a step forward in the world of art and movie making.
“To me filmmaking is inventing new ways to look at the world, finding new ways to tell a story,” he says.
