Immortal fashion themes from Indian films at IFFI1 min read

Fashion designers paid tribute to the inimitable style of movie icons over the decades at “Cinema Couture”, a high-voltage fashion show to coincide with the ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

The event was organised by the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) and the Directorate of Film Festivals (DFF).

Some scenes from the fashion show, conceptualised and presented by the International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD), Goa.

The show, conceptualised and presented by the International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD), Goa, presented immortal Bollywood fashion themes, with a modern twist and a contemporary look.

“Indian films, especially Bollywood, have created timeless fashion icons whose style is revered and imitated till date. We felt that IFFI Goa, 2010 is the perfect time to hold the show alongside with, and are delighted to have such enthusiastic response from the audience,” Mr. Manoj Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer, ESG, said.
