Reading Time: < 1 minuteEros International, a leading distributor of Bollywood movies in the UK, is planning to launch a film download service in March.
“Plans are in development to create a download service that would offer a combination of free and paid-for films,” said Kishore Lulla, the chief executive of Eros International.
Lulla said he expected to charge a monthly fee to premium subscribers who wish to access thousands of Bollywood films in a number of dialects and dubbed in numerous languages.
The dubbed market is worth up to 2 million pounds a year to the company in each market, with large fan bases in the UK, Germany, Poland, Indonesia, China and Malaysia.
