India’s most successful film of all-time, comedy caper 3 Idiots, picked up five honors at the first Global Indian Music Awards Wednesday night in Mumbai.
GIMA is produced by event management company Wizcraft International in association with industry body Indian Music Industry.
The award for best anti-piracy initiative was given to the state government of Maharashtra, of which Mumbai is the capital.
The GIMA ceremony also saw live performances by top Bollywood talent such as actress Kareena Kapoor and actors Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan.
