Funds needed to make Malaysian Christian film1 min read

A GROUP of businessmen, from the Christian Businessmen’s Committee (CBMC) in Taman Molek, Johor Baru, are raising funds to produce a Christian movie.

Filmmaker Kelvin Kang claimed that it was the first local Christian production and hoped to enter it in the Malaysia Book of Records.

“The production cost is estimated to be within about RM200,000. Well-wishers have pledged between RM30,000 and RM40,000.”

He said it would be screened at Christian centres next June. The proceeds will be used to expand the CBMC centre
