Danny Chan (Shaolin Soccer, Kung Fu Hustle, Legend of Bruce Lee) will be in Singapore from 20 – 27 October to shoot a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) film “The Spirit of Fight”.

This is a project between Danny and his team from Hong Kong, Producer Bruce Ma Cheng Yu from Taiwan and Director Randy Ang from Singapore in tribute to Bruce Lee’s 70th birth anniversary this year.

In China, Danny’s latest project “The Legend of the Bruce Lee” attained a viewership rating of 14.87% (over 200 million viewers tuned in) breaking CCTV’s all time record – sealing his transition from a supporting actor to leading man.

“We are the biggest Bruce Lee fans. This self-funded teaser we are shooting now is our tribute to his legacy and giving fans a glimpse of what it would be like if the spirit of Jeet Kune Do is very much alive and becomes a part of the global phenomenon that is Mixed Martial Arts.” says Ma.
