Independent Indian film-makers will now get a chance to showcase and sell their films to international buyers right here in India.

Filmmaker GK Desai, who has been attending international film festivals, said, “Getting the best buyers and sales agents to come here is one of MAMI’s biggest achievements”

The centre will arrange meetings which will help corporate as well as independent film-makers and distributors/buyers. “It has managed to get the best buyers and sales agents to come to India. This will definitely help those filmmakers who cannot afford to go abroad to sell their films,” he added.
