Tan Bee Thiam resigned as executive director of the Asian Film Archive last week, following conflict of interest issues raised by a group of leading Singapore filmmakers.
The filmmakers – Han Yew Kwang, Sun Koh, Jasmine Ng Kin Kia, Tania Sng, Royston Tan, Tan Pin Pin, Eva Tang, Victric Thng and Kelvin Tong – presented themselves as a group called ‘Querying AFA’.
