Reading Time: < 1 minuteThe British Council recently organised a major two-day forum in Singapore looking at community and the arts, in partnership with the National Museum and the Theatre Training and Research Programme (TTRP).
The event featured two well known speakers; UK filmmaker Joe Lawlor spoke about his awardwinning series of community-based films, the Civic Life series, while Singaporean filmmaker Tan Pin Pin also talked about her ideas of how film can make a community.
The British Council has made a short film of Joe’s talk, which includes clips from the Civic Life series, and also put up an interview with Pin Pin.
