S’pore enters 3 films into HK indie fest1 min read

Singapore has sent in a total of three films into the 2008 Hong Kong Asian Film Festival, including a double bill from Royston Tan. The three films are: 881, 12 Lotus and Eric Khoo’s My Magic.

hkaff.jpgThe three films will be showcased together with 72 other films, including the Oscar nominee “Cape No.7” from Taiwan.

Initiated in 2003, the film festival aims to promote fresh talent across Asia, especially those in the independent film community. It will run from 25 Sept to 11 Oct 2008, and is held at the Broadway Cinematheque at Yau Ma Tei in Hong Kong.
